Coverage We Help You Compare
People usually reach us for one of two reasons: they are buying coverage for the first time, or their current plan costs too much for what it delivers. We handle individual health insurance, family health insurance and ACA Marketplace plans, along with dental insurance, vision insurance and accident insurance that can pair with a medical plan. Every one has a page covering what affects the price and what to ask before enrolling.

Individual Health Insurance
Coverage for one person, compared across multiple carriers, with plain answers on premiums, deductibles and which doctors are in network.

Family Health Insurance
Coverage for parents and kids on one plan, compared across carriers so you can see deductibles, networks and premiums before you choose.
ACA Marketplace Plans
Help choosing a Marketplace plan, sizing your tax credit and enrolling on time, with options from several carriers laid out side by side.
Dental Insurance
Dental plans compared on what matters before you sign: waiting periods, annual maximums, network dentists and what each tier covers.
Vision Insurance
Stand-alone vision plans that cover yearly eye exams plus an allowance for glasses or contacts, compared across carriers so you can see the real tradeoffs.
Accident Insurance
Cash benefits for covered injuries like fractures and ER visits, so a fall or sports injury doesn't land on you all at once.

A Local Agency That Works for You
We are an independent health insurance agency in Land O' Lakes. Because we are not tied to one carrier, we can show you what several companies offer and tell you honestly where each plan falls short. Having us look costs you nothing. The carrier you end up enrolling with handles our compensation, and you never get a bill from us.
Our clients include self-employed people, families between jobs, early retirees who are not yet on other coverage and workers whose employer plan got too expensive. What they have in common is that they wanted someone to explain the fine print without a sales script. That is the work we like doing.

What Drives Your Premium
A few set rules decide what health insurance costs, and once you know them a quote makes sense. Your medical history is not among them on ACA-compliant plans. We cover each of these factors on every call.
Each comparison we put together starts from your ages, expected income, doctors and budget. The consultation is free, and you see the figures before agreeing to anything.
- Ages of everyone on the plan
- Federal rules allow premiums to go up with age. A family's total reflects each person's age, and only a limited number of children are charged.
- Plan level and design
- Bronze plans have a low monthly cost but leave more for you to pay before the plan begins sharing expenses. Gold reverses that, charging more each month and less at the doctor's office. Silver sits in the middle and may add extra savings for some incomes.
- How the network works
- HMO and EPO plans limit you to a defined network and generally cost less. PPO plans pay toward out-of-network providers at a higher rate, and the premium reflects that flexibility.
- Expected income and family size
- On Marketplace plans, your projected income for next year and the number of people on your tax return determine whether you receive a premium tax credit and its amount.
- Tobacco and where you live
- Tobacco users may pay higher rates. Pricing also differs by county, so one plan can carry different prices in Pasco and Hillsborough.
- Extra coverage
- Dental, vision and accident plans each have a separate premium. We list them on their own so you can choose which are worth adding.
How a Plan Comparison Works
The whole thing usually starts with one phone call. You can stay on the phone, switch to video or meet us at our office.
- 1
Tell us what you need
We ask who needs coverage, their ages, your rough income, the doctors you want to keep and any medications you take regularly. That's enough to start.
- 2
See the options side by side
We pull plans from several carriers and walk you through the differences in premium, deductible, copays and network. You can ask as many questions as you like.
- 3
Pick and enroll
Once you choose, we help you complete enrollment and confirm the start date. If a special enrollment period applies, we make sure the paperwork lands in time.
- 4
Keep us on call
When renewal notices arrive or your income changes, we review your plan with you so you are not surprised at the next open enrollment.
Why People Choose Us for Plan Comparisons
The carrier you sign up with pays us, and you never do, so we look for the plan that suits you instead of the one with the best commission. This is what that looks like on an actual call.
Many carriers in one view
We gather plans from multiple carriers and set them next to each other. Premium, deductible, out-of-pocket maximum and network appear together, so you are not jumping from site to site.
Your doctors come first
We confirm that the doctors and hospitals you use are in a plan's network before suggesting it. A low premium is not worth much if your child's pediatrician is not covered.
Honest talk about subsidies
When you qualify for a premium tax credit on a Marketplace plan, we let you know and show how it changes your monthly payment. When you do not, we tell you and explore other choices.
Take your time deciding
Feel free to take the comparison home, sleep on it and discuss it with your family. We prefer that you pick the right plan once over switching in a hurry later.
Support once you enroll
After your card shows up, questions follow, such as how a claim was handled or what applies to your deductible. We remain the people you call.
What Clients Ask Us Most Often
Something not covered here? (813) 819-7976
Is there a cost to work with you?
No. The consultation is free, and you pay the same premium you would get going straight to the carrier. The carrier you choose pays us, so your bill stays the same.
Could a pre-existing condition get me denied?
Not with an ACA-compliant plan. Those plans cannot reject you or raise your price because of your medical history. Certain short-term or limited plans do ask health questions, and we will tell you plainly if one you are looking at does.
When am I able to enroll in health insurance?
Florida's Marketplace enrollment period generally runs from November 1 to January 15. After that, you need a qualifying life change, like losing other coverage, moving, marrying or having a baby. Those changes typically give you 60 days, so calling soon afterward helps.
How can I tell if my doctor takes a plan?
Give us the doctors, specialists and hospitals you want to keep, and we check every plan's network before suggesting it. Because networks shift, we use the carrier's current directory instead of assuming.
Can I get help paying my premium?
Your premium tax credit depends on two things: your expected income for the year and the number of people on your tax return. Plenty of people who think they earn too much still get some savings. We work out the figures during the call and show your price with the credit and without it.
Do you help with dental or vision on their own?
Yes. You can buy dental insurance and vision insurance separately or add them to a medical plan. We compare waiting periods, yearly maximums and coverage for cleanings, fillings, eye exams and glasses.
What information should I gather before calling?
The ages of everyone who needs coverage, an approximate income, your county and a list of your doctors and regular medications. A summary of benefits from your current plan is useful if you have one, but you can call without it.
